My favourite Author.
As you can probably tell my favourite author is Heidi Swain. But some of you may ask why?
Well I’ve been an avid reader since I was young. I grew up reading some of the classics, Enid Blyton’s Famous Five and the Secret Seven, Roahld Dahl and Michael Bond to name a couple. These books I found would always make me picture myself in the scene, not so much as a main character but sort of if you like sitting on the shoulder of a main character or as they like to say like a fly on the wall almost. I found the same as I got older and I got into JK Rowling it was the same. Although I like a wide variety of authors Heidi is the top of the list, each of her books are heartwarming and it’s great to see them all linking together. My all time favourite is Poppy’s recipe for life although you will have to read it for yourself to see if you agree. The best News is Heidi going to be writing 4 more books.

Snowflakes and cinnamon swirls at the winter wonderland.
Book number 7 from Heidi Swain takes us back to Wynthorpe hall, this time with Hayley as the lead character. Again it’s Christmas and Hayley is about to celebrate her engagement party, or so she thinks. It’s not long before she’s moved into the hall and is left licking her wounds although she has a lot of interest in mysterious newcomer Gabe. Can she leave the past behind her or will it all keep catching up with her. What is the mystery with Gabe? And what on earth is Angus up to this time?
Spend another amazing Christmas with the Connelly crew at Wynthorpe hall. This time we get to visit a winter wonderland while we also catch up with some of the regular family members.
I felt so Christmassy reading this I love it.

Sunshine and sweet peas in Nightingale Square by Heidi Swain
Book number 6 From Heidi Swain takes us away from Wynbridge and into the beautiful Nightingale Square.
Meet Kate, recently divorced she’s leaving London and heading for Nightingale Square. Although she’s hoping to keep herself to herself her neighbours have other ideas and she’s barely moved in when she meets Lisa who soon becomes her best friend along with neighbour Heather. Soon Kate is pulled into community events including a campaign to turn the local green into a community garden. and concerns rise around the neighbours when the rumours start that the beautiful Victorian mansion house is in the hands of developers and is possibly up for demolition. Are the rumours true? Can the residents help? Do they get their garden space? And what does the handsome Luke Lonsdale have to say about the plans for the mansion house?
We move away from Wynbridge but keep in touch with some characters as Kate’s brother Tom is married to Jemma From the Cherry Tree Cafe. Once again we meet a whole new neighbourhood with some delightful characters. a book that I could not put down.
